THE APEX AD PH 2 STUDY - NOW ENROLLING
Millions of adults struggle with eczema (atopic dermatitis, or “AD”) and the constant battle against flare-ups. Although there are many treatments available, they do not always address the underlying source of inflammation. This is why doctors and researchers are working to develop new medications that may better treat eczema in the future.
If you’re living with eczema but have not found sustained relief from other treatments, you may qualify for the APEX AD Ph 2 Study. The study is evaluating an investigational medication that is injected under the skin to see if it can help relieve the pain, itch, skin irritation, and other symptoms caused by AD.
If you qualify and choose to join the APEX AD Ph 2 Study, you will receive study-related care at no cost, and will be compensated for your time and travel to attend any required study visits.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
If you’re living with moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis), you may qualify for the APEX AD Ph 2 Study. The study is evaluating an investigational medication that is injected under the skin to see if it can help relieve the pain, itch, skin irritation, and other symptoms caused by AD. If you qualify and choose to join the APEX AD Ph 2 Study you will receive:
- Evaluations of your atopic dermatitis from a local physician specialist
- All study-related care and study medication at no cost
- Ongoing evaluations of your eczema condition and overall health – after one year of treatment with study medication, you may have the opportunity to continue study treatment in another study. If not, you will be monitored for safety for approximately another year
- Compensation for your time and travel to attend any required study visits
- The opportunity to help advance potential treatment options for atopic dermatitis, which may benefit other AD sufferers in the future.
